Some techniques that they used included grattage, or also known as scraping. The next tendency is also known as Veristic Surrealism, portrayed things about the 'dream world.' Rene Magritte and Salvador Dali are famous Surrealism artists. The third and last tendency began with techniques started by Miro, Paul Klee, and Masson (WW2).
